TrackIt does not collect any personal data (e.g., name, email, phone number). The app only stores transaction records and manually entered exchange rates. All data is stored locally on the user's device and is not backed up to cloud servers. No personal information is collected, and no data is shared with third parties, except as outlined below.

2. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored locally in an SQLite database on the user's device. Users can delete their data at any time via a button in the settings menu. Photos added to trades are stored locally on the user's device and are not included in backups for privacy and storage efficiency. TrackIt ensures that all data remains private and secure by not storing it on remote servers.

3. Third-Party Services

TrackIt uses third-party services such as RevenueCat for subscription management, Amazon AWS for data storage, and CurrencyBeacon for exchange rates. These third-party services may have their own privacy policies, which users should review separately.

  • RevenueCat generates an anonymous user ID (e.g., $RCAnonymousID:351e3d7ab1e84f6a89d6657f794111e6) for managing subscriptions.
  • Amazon AWS is used for retrieving and storing exchange rates fetched from CurrencyBeacon. These exchange rates are then retrieved by the app.

4. Data Sharing

TrackIt does not share personal or sensitive user data with third parties. RevenueCat generates an anonymous user ID for subscription management, but no other personal data is shared. Data is shared with third-party service providers such as RevenueCat (for subscription management), Amazon AWS (for storing exchange rates), and CurrencyBeacon (for retrieving exchange rates). These third parties do not receive any personally identifiable information.

5. User Rights

Users are solely responsible for the data they enter into the app, including trade details and exchange rates. TrackIt is not responsible for any errors in the data entered or any financial losses that may occur due to inaccuracies in the calculations or other data input errors. Users are advised to verify all data before acting on it.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

TrackIt does not retain user data beyond what is necessary for its functionality. Users can delete their local data at any time using the app's settings menu. Photos added to trades are stored locally and are not part of any backup system. The app will only store a limited number of backup files (3 backups maximum) at any given time.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Users are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. The Privacy Policy will be updated on this page, and users are encouraged to check regularly for any updates. TrackIt does not notify users directly of changes to this policy.

8. Data Security

While TrackIt does not collect personal data or store it remotely, it is important to note that the app relies on third-party services (e.g., RevenueCat, Amazon AWS, CurrencyBeacon) for functionality. These services have their own security measures, which TrackIt does not control. TrackIt employs commercially acceptable means to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

TrackIt is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not collect any personal information from users, including age information, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the app. Since no personal data is collected, we do not store or retain any information related to children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has used the app, please contact the relevant app stores (Play Store and Apple Store) to address the issue.
